Network's only function is to process
designations on behalf of professional
travel agents. Agents that meet the
standards for designation may process an
application and be awarded a professional
designation allowing them industry
recognition and stature equivalent with
their overall productivity, education,
experience and tenure.
Travel
Professionals Network is not an association
or
educational organization entity. Its sole function is to
process travel agent applications and award
professional designations to those who
qualify.
Travel
Professionals Network is an agent initiative
to overcome the plethora of card mills,
network marketers and affiliate
organizations presenting themselves as
professional travel agents to consumers, the
trade and world at large. The project is
simple in scope. Travel Professionals
Network's objective is to allow professional
travel agents the opportunity to set
themselves apart from those that do not
qualify.
TPN recognizes that the business models and
goals of today's professional travel
agent may vary in scope.
The number of hours dedicated to sales each
week is not the sole indicator of a level of
professionalism, therefore, one who sells
travel part-time can be every bit as
professional as someone choosing to embrace
this field in a full time capacity. While the three
designations are commensurate with a
designee's sales volume, education and
tenure, all three designations offered by TPN are equal in recognition of the
professionalism of each designee.

designation proudly display one unified
industry and consumer logo.
