1. Designees agree to comply with all local, state and federal laws impacting professional travel agents.
2. Designees agree that honest and forthright actions with all clients is essential to maintaining the integrity of the profession. All clients are entitled to full disclosure of travel products and services being executed on their behalf.
3. As the front line representative of the travel industry, Designees agree that it is imperative that they conduct their daily business in such a way as to ensure that all clients are treated with respect and that all transactions are completed in the best interest of the client.
4. Designees agree to promote professionalism to the trade and consumers alike by displaying his or her designation and offering a full explanation as to why it is important for the trade and consumers to find and use professional agents.
5. Designees agree that it is not in the interest of themselves or other professionals to participate or affiliate with card mills, network marketing organizations and other ‘instant travel agent’ programs that are detrimental to the reputation of the industry. Furthermore, they agree that actively denouncing such programs will educate the public as to how they undermine the ethical integrity of the travel profession. 
6. Designees agree that taking an active role in the industry and striving to continually further their knowledge base of the trade through participation in industry educational opportunities is essential to maintaining their effectiveness and the public trust.

TPN Agreement

    1.  Designee agrees to abide by the TPN Code of Ethics.
    2.  Designee agrees to the following conditions
         a. Designee will display their designation in all appropriate media.
         b. Designee agrees to promote the benefits of the TPN designations.
